Audix ADX-40 / ADX-40-HC

Available with a choice of three interchangeable microphone capsules (cardioid, omni, and hypercardioid), the ADX-40 is most commonly used for plays, theatrical productions, choirs, group vocals, and room ambience miking.

With a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 40-20k Hz, the ADX-40 provides a warm, rich sound not typical of microphones this size. It is machined from solid brass and is available in non-reflective black or white (ADX-40W). Supplied with an attached 30' cable, the ADX-40 operates on phantom power (9-52volts) with the preamp module provided (APS-910). If phantom power is not available, there is an optional power supply (APS-911) that operates in phantom or battery mode with bass roll-off and on-off switches. Low noise electronic circuitry, low impedance, and balanced output allow interference-free performance even with long cable runs.

Audix ADX-212 / ADX-218

With a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 40 Hz – 18 kHz, the ADX-212/218 microphones provide a warm, rich sound not typical of microphones this size. The stock microphone employs a cardioid capsule, however, these microphones are also available with a hypercardioid capsule (ADX-212-HC, ADX-218-HC).

The ADX-212/218 may be permanently installed into a podium or table top by using the flange mount adapter provided or the optional SMT1218R rubber insulated shockmount system. The ADX-212/218 may also be used with the optional ATS-10 heavy duty table stand featuring a lighted on-off switch.

Metal housings for the ADX-212/218 are fabricated from high quality aluminum and brass and finished with a nonreflective durable e-coat. The capsule, FET assembly, and preamp circuitry are all field-replaceable components.

The ADX-212/218 requires phantom power voltage (9-52 volts), however, if phantom voltage is not available, the optional Audix APS-2 phantom power supply is suggested. The ADX-212/218 microphones can also be used with any standard mic stand by using the optional D-Clip to hold the base of the microphone.

Audix ADX-60 Boundary Plate

Available in 3 models, the stock ADX-60 is equipped with a cardioid element. There is a choice of two other interchangeable capsules: Omni-directional (ADX60-om), or Hypercardioid (ADX60-hc).

With a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 50Hz - 18 kHz, the ADX-60 is provides a warm, fullbodied sound not typical of microphones this size. Housed in a heavy-duty zinc die-cast base with a low reflective black e-coat finish. Operating on phantom power (9-52 volts), the ADX-60 is supplied with an inline preamplifier (APS-910) and 25' of detachable shielded microphone cable. If phantom power is not available, there is an optional power supply (APS-911) that operates in phantom or battery mode. Low noise electronic circuitry and balanced output allow interference-free performance even with long cable runs.

Audix TR-40

Enhancing Audix's reputation for delivering superior microphone performance at a very affordable price, the Audix TR-40 is a 1/4-inch pre-polarized condenser with an omni-directional capsule.

The TR-40 is ideally suited for miking group vocals, choirs, pianos, room ambience and can also be used as a “cost effective” measurement or calibration microphone.

As with other Audix mics, the new TR-40 sets a new standard in affordable performance.

The new Audix TR-40 employs a 1/4" pre-polarized condenser capsule with an omni-directional polar pattern to provide an ultra-smooth, linear frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz. The flat linear response enables the TR40 to successfully capture the “room effect” without the need to resort to electonic processing. This, along with the ease at which it handles high SPL's of over 140dB, makes the TR-40 ideal for both studio and live recording of pianos, musical groups, choirs, and room acoustics.

Audix UEM-81s

Versatile microphone with 10db pad and bass roll-off. Electret condenser shotgun microphone for distance miking.

Features of the Audix UEM-81s shotgun are 20Hz-20kHz frequency response, 128dB SPL handling in durable black e-coat aluminum construction. The UEM-81s uses standard AA batteries for approximately 1000 hours of use.
