For very high SPL applications, the V15 delivers extended frequency response with high sound pressure levels, extremely low distortion, outstanding clarity, crystal clear intelligibility, definition and detail from it's 380mm (15.00”) point source, constant directivity Tannoy PowerDual™ drive unit. A high intelligiblity system optimised for use where such higher output levels and lower frequency attainment are essential for live sound reinforcement, high quality public address or large scale music reinforcement installations.

The wide dispersion, even coverage pattern and high power handling means that the V15 excels in applications as diverse as theme pubs and nightclubs, theatre front of house and effects and side fill in movie theatres and cinemas, right through to class leading audio reproduction in houses of worship, theme parks, leisure venues, audio visual installs and multi-use sports stadiums.

The V15 is designed to function properly without the use of any controller and can be bi-amplified for increased system flexibility. A compatible controller will equalise the system resulting in improved bass performance, enhanced HF responses as well as providing a 2-way crossover function for use with separate V Series bass systems.

The V15 comes complete with a carrying handle, a blanking plate over a 35mm pole mount location and 8 x M10 bracket inserts for landscape or portrait mounting and 8 x M10 flying inserts. Tannoy’s proprietary Secure-ET™ modular mounting hardware provides the V Series with multiple hanging options - wall mount, yoke, ceiling saddle, pole clamp, pole mount and eyebolts.

Available in black or white, the rugged multi-ply birch cabinet has asymmetric profile; a convenient aspect ratio that allows installation in a variety of configurations.
