TC Electronic FireworX

The FireworX is the most radial sounding Multi-Effects Processor you've ever heard and a real challenge to your imagination. Take whatever you need from the broad palette of internal effects, drop it into the forge at the heart of the FireworX, and turn your music into a fireball of sound.

Based on cutting edge technology from TC Electronic, the FireworX will let you surf the limits of the possible.

If you’ve been searching to find an alternative in effects processing, FireworX is the answer! It represents a very special perspective in signal processing, allowing you to express yourself and take control far beyond the capabilities of your average cookie cutter effects machine.

FireworX features an 8x8 position routing grid. Simply place the algorithms anywhere on the grid and they will be automatically "wired" together in parallel and serial, depending on the position.

FireworX uses a dynamic resource allocation system that allows you to monitor how much DSP power you are using. You can keep adding algorithms to the routing grid until you hit the DSP power limit without affecting the FX quality.

When the desired combination of algorithms are chosen in the Routing grid, all thinkable editing tools are available, including a unique modifier matrix allowing you to twist parameters dynamically in a way you have never experienced before.

TC Electronic D-Two Multitap Rhythm Delay

Cutting Edge Technology
With the introduction of the D-Two, TC Electronic have once again succeeded in developing cutting edge technology, expanding the way you work with your effects processor! Your creativity will be the only limit when it comes to exploring the endless number of delay possibilities within the D-Two.

True 24 Bit
State-of-the-art hardware provides you with true 24 bit resolution A/D and D/A converters and true 24 bit RAM memory. The unique hardware design ensures that the delay effects you get from the D-Two only come in one variety: The best possible audio quality!

Affordability
The introduction of the D-Two adds a brand new feature to TC´s Ultimate Sound Machines: Affordability! Behind the cool looking exterior of the D-Two Rhythm Tap Delay lies more than 20 years of know-how and experience in supplying Ultimate Sound Machines to the Professional Audio Industry!

Delay Re-Invented
When TC Electronic introduced the TC 2290, the Professional Audio Industry was given an exceptional tool for creating stunning delay effects. Since the introduction of the TC 2290, digital delay processors have been built on the same basic principle. With the introduction of the D-Two Rhythm Delay TC once again revolutionizes the concept of delay effects processing by adding the possibility of actually creating rhythm delay patterns. The Rhythm Delay feature makes the D-Two the most unique dedicated delay unit – ever!

Standard Delay Line
The standard delay line of the D-Two is based around a delay line with a feedback loop. The audio is fed back via the loop, which results in repeats.

The D-Two Delay Line
The D-Two delay/feedback strategy is different from ordinary delay products. In the D-Two the repeats are caused by a number of taps that are not fed back into the delay line. That enables the D-Two to output a specific number of repeats, providing you with ultimate control.

Rhythm Delay
It is also possible to feed the last tap back into the delay line, generating a complete rhythm sequence, which is repeated when you have the Feedback active. This unique feature allows you to exactly match your effects to your music.

Rhythm Tap
TC introduces the truly musical Rhythm Tap feature: Not only tempo, but actual rhythm patterns can be tapped directly – or quantized according to a specific tempo and subdivision. The delays and rhythm patterns can be up to 10 seconds each. Control the exact number of repeats with Absolute Repeat Control.

Setting Up
Setting up your D-Two is extremely easy. Either choose Regular mode for standard delay applications or choose the Unique D-Two Rhythm mode. Simply tap in a specific rhythm and match this to your source material. You automatically enter the Rhythm mode when you tap the FEEDBACK/RHYTHM key.

Complete Overview
TC Electronic has a long tradition of building high quality intuitive user interfaces. With the introduction of the D-Two this proud tradition is upheld. An ultra detailed Multi Spectral LCD Display provides you with complete overview of what is actually going on in your processor. Every feature has its own section in the display. This makes it easy to take advantage of the many unique possibilities integrated in the D-Two.

Add-On-Effects
The D-Two Delay processor comes with six unique add-on effects. You can access all parameters of the six effects directly from the front panel.

Chorus
A great sounding pitch-modulated delay in the shape of TC’s world-acclaimed Chorus is included in the D-Two as well. Double clicking on the CHORUS key provides you with instant access to all chorus parameters.

Filter
Add Filter to your delay to get a softer, warmer and more natural sounding delay. Reduce the high frequencies of your delay with the D-Two filter effect. This gives you a delay that which in most cases will seem less disturbing on the overall sound.

Spatial
Use the Spatial Delay effect if you want to add more width to the sound of your material. Extra width is generated either by offsetting left channel up to +/-200ms or by reversing the phase on any channel or both.

Reverse Delay
The Reverse Delay effect processes the signal, and adds a backward delay.

Dynamic Delay
Get one of the most useful delay functions with the D-Two: The Dynamic Delay effect. Reduce the delay level as much as you like while the signal is fed to the Input, or enhance the delay level when the signal is at a lower level. When using this function you get a delay effect which seems to be present only where and when it does not disturb or interfere with the source material e.g. in the pauses between phases from a vocalist, a guitar player or similar.

Ping-Pong
Let your material jump from left to right, left-center-right or let the D-Two dynamically fit the panning to your chosen number of taps. If you combine this panning style of delay with the unique Tap function you get a delay effect that takes your production to dimensions like you have never experienced before.

TC Electronic Intonator Vocal Intonation Processor

Encompassing a heritage of more than 20 years of delivering professional tools to the pro audio industry, TC Electronic proudly presents a high end vocal processing tool.

Dedicated to the professional vocal recording engineer, the Intonator is aimed at reducing tedious engineering time spent on doing vocal re-takes. Not only does it provide you with the ultimate solution to vocal pitch correction, but it offers various valuable processing tools as well, including a De-esser, and a special adaptive LoCut filter designed specifically for vocal processing.

Quality tools for quality engineering
Tonal integrity is a must when dealing with delicate human vocals. The Intonator preserves the artist's personal touch by allowing vibrato, initial intonation and correction limited to individual notes. Utmost care has been taken in the software development to ensure that all fine adjustments applied to the incoming signal are being processed in a subtle, yet highly effective manner!

Transparency
Based on TC's world-renowned DARC™3 chip technology (incorporating 96kHz internal processing and true 24 bit resolution), the Intonator provides you with an ultra-transparent signal path. It features fully integrated AES/EBU, S/PDIF, Tos-link and ADAT digital I/O’s, and is 96kHz, 88.2kHz, 48kHz and 44.1kHz compatible on both digital and analog I/O's.

Coherence
Apart from the clear advantages of reducing the time spent on doing vocal re-takes, the Intonator also brings back coherence into the performance. Instead of cutting and pasting bits and phrases, with the loss of coherence as an obvious result, you now have a professional tool for processing and correcting your vocals in real-time.

Two Signal Setups
The Intonator also makes you capable of configuring the signal path in two different ways. In Normal mode the ADIOS (analog dual I/O's) configuration enables you to make simultaneous recordings of processed and unprocessed vocals, making comparisons a breeze (see fig. A). Digital signals, from your digital multi-track recorder for instance, can be configured the same way. In Dual mode you have the option of pitch-correcting the signal in one channel while using the dynamics, De-esser and LoCut, on the signal in the other channel (see fig. B).

Being On Top
You can choose to correct a single note simply by using the unique "do-not-process-anything-but-this-note" function achieved via an internal custom scale feature, or type in your personal scale. A Pitch window allows you to specify when a note will be considered out of tune, whereas the Amount control limits the level of Pitch correction added to the audio.

The audio-to-MIDI conversion allows you to keep track of the incoming pitch history and/or correction history, giving you the advantages of being on top of things throughout the entire recording session.

The Intonator features full MIDI automation making time based pitch shifting a simple operation. Use your keyboard for real-time manual pitch correction simply by hitting the notes to be processed.

Dithering
The use of dithering is very important when interfacing digitally between audio equipment. When resolution is changed from higher to lower, dithering is necessary to minimize distortion. In the Intonator you have the user friendly TPDF dithering. The output resolution of the Intonator is 24 bit, when the receiver of the Intonator signal has a lower resolution, Output Dither must be applied to equal the resolution of the receiver.

Premium Converters
When converting from analog to digital or vice versa, you should always try to use the full dynamic range of your converters. Even though the converters in the Intonator are 24 bit, analog gain may be applied before the AD's and after the DA's to make full use of them. The analog signal-path is balanced and can carry professional levels.
